We have had a very busy year, here are a few things we have gotten up to!!

October 2012

We have had a busy start to the term - already we have been to Durham to the Oriental Museum, we have taken part in Roald Dahl Day and a 1950s day, and we are planning a trip to a Sikh Gurdwara.

February 2012

We are learning about our world this term, beginning by contrasting Whitby and Middlesbrough. Then we are looking further afield to study Japan. We had a fantastic day conducting fieldwork in Middlesbrough and are now looking forward to our visit to the Oriental Museum in Durham.

This term we have had fun learning about rainforests. We had a fantastic trip to Tropical World in Leeds and we are looking forward to Rainforest animals visiting our school! We have found aromas a rainforest would have, and we have really enjoyed our Big Writing this term.

Spring Term 2011

This term we are experimenting lots! In recycle fortnight we were composting, we have also dissected flowers, made pancakes and found out why yeast is needed for making bread. We have been very very busy!
